thanks so much for coming here,

we have recorded the first half of the record.
and because of some recent donations,
i will be able to go mix the first half.
we have booked Q division studios in boston
for the 1st and 2nd of december....

its been a while since my last update,
and for that i apologize.
i cant even begin to tell you how thankful i am.
family, friends, and strangers have been so generous,
dollars have come in from all over the world,
and it really means a lot,
makes me feel tiny.
thanks to everyone,
people known and unknown,
i will be able to start this record,
and i have not been so excited ever.
the serenade and i played a show last thursday,

im in london, tired, so tired.
but very excited to be working with sacha skarbek,
and of course ilse delange.

ts almost 2 am.
and,
instead of being halfway across the atlantic,
im in the waiting area of gate 5 in jfks international wing.
my plane has been grounded,
found unworthy.
so,
we are awaiting a new vessel.
im reading a new book,
a voyage long and strange.
its all about the settling of america,
and how most americans really dont know much between when columbus sailed in 1492
and 16 0 something when the pilgrims settled.
the chapter i just read was about columbus,
and the actual horrors he faced while crossing the atlantic.
makes me feel a little silly about sitting here with ipod/computer/book/two magazines/diet coke/reeses pieces.
but dang,
no one was sitting in the seat next to me,
and i was looking forward to stretching out
and touching down in london town.
im going to london to help someone else finish their record.
seems to be happening a lot lately,
which is awesome.
but, oh, come july.
it will be my turn

so last night i had a dream that i was working with kanye west.
maybe thats symbolic,
or maybe it was just the scrambled eggs i made and ate
right before i went to bed.

to spread.
today i received my first international dollar,
from sweden.
isnt that crazy and amazing at the same time.
im gonna post a video tomorrow,

it's raining here in brooklyn,
but ive got a smile on my face.
